Sprint Bus
The Sprint project is a major transportation initiative that aims to create a dedicated bus corridor connecting Walsall, Solihull, and Birmingham Airport. By providing a fast and reliable public transportation option, the project seeks to alleviate traffic congestion, improve air quality, and promote sustainable travel in the West Midlands region.
As part of this groundbreaking project, I was involved on collaborating with the Sprint team to produce a promotional video that showcased the completion of Phase One. From storyboarding to shooting and editing, the team worked closely together to capture the excitement and significance of this milestone achievement.
Travel Update Show
The West Midlands Combined Authority has a department known as the Regional Transport Coordination Centre (RTCC) that many people are still unaware of. This is the nerve centre of every CCTV and traffic camera in the West Midlands and is used to manage traffic flow and assist law enforcement.
The RTCC approached us for help in promoting their work and showcasing their team's contributions. We agreed on a strategy to give a face to the department and produce engaging videos featuring different teams. For example, we have now created a weekly update series that focuses on the transport team. The team film and edit these videos on the same day, providing viewers with real-time information about traffic conditions.
This approach has helped viewers better understand the traffic situation and appreciate the hard work of the RTCC.
